Used this camera at home and cottage for years. upgraded and totally non functional

A great app. We use it no matter where we are in the world.

I purchased a DCS-2136L about a year ago. Decent camera overall, but the software needs work. The biggest problem I have is the audio. There is NO SOUND. I know its not the hardware because it used to work, but through software and firmware updates, now I get no sound return. Also - I have a very fast wifi connection yet it seems like it takes forever to recognize the camera locally. Very frustrating. Hopefully these important issues will be addressed!

Good app, but takes forever to connect remotely. Was a bit hard to set up (had to redo 4 times) but effectively lets me monitor my cottage and record movement detected by the camera. Everything I needed!

It is a great app. Easy to add cameras and use

I find the app good with options being able to move the camera around, night mode, sound etc. But I find it aggravating when trying to watch the camera from anywhere outside of the business, it lags a lot and freezes and after approx 5-10 of the app running it will either say the time has run out and asks me to resume or a configuration error appears and it kicks me off. Super annoying! If I am literally in my office at work (the camera is in the next room) I get no lagging at all and it works perfect other than the fact the session time out still happens and configuration errors and logging out still happens.... I would be willing to pay for the actual app to have this lagging and session expired/timing out/configuration error stop!

A little difficult to initially set up the camera. The app works great!

Once set up, a great, stable application. Works from the Rockies to Nepal, as long as you have a wi-fi! 2 cameras right now, but adding at least 1 more. Great sound/motion warning systems. Not just for security. Like it.

Software now only supports 240p, half the advertised ability. Not a lot can be made out at 240, pretty useless service.

DCS 5020L without presets positions, only with Home. But DCS 5030L has all presets positions. Need to fix.

Not easy to connect to wifi. But resolution and night vision good. Like it

This app does what it is intended to do.

Does what is intended to do. It does not have functionality to send out push notices to your email based on event triggers or take snapshots at event triggers. It sends event notifications only.

I am able to view Ive cameras at 720p. I am amazed at the picture quality. I use a computer to setup the cameras for event triggers and email events.

I love the fact that its free to use. I hope they dont come out with a fee. Streaming is amazing quality and control for the price of the camera. Sometimes a little buggy connecting, but its not a huge$$$ system either. Great value for the dollar.

I have 2 cameras. One I have no probs with but the other one at our summer house is impossible to connect to. Bought a new router to accommodate wifi, couldnt get it to connect unless plugged in to router, infrared is useless. But biggest thing is it blinks when u connect so if youre using it as a cam to see if any probs the other side has advanced notice :( defeats the purpose

Push notifications doesnt work and doesnt record video sometimes!!!! Return this product!
