Slow Connections

First, my camera has a static IP address. Why does this app need to search for it after every launch? Just let me enter the information manually instead of using its braindead, hideously slow, autodiscovery. If I open the app its usually because I want to see something that is going on at that very second; by the time it actually locates the camera what I wanted to see has already concluded!

Second, I *ONLY* access my camera locally and have no intention of creating an account to use with D-Links web-based services. Why does the app begin with a splash screen asking for a login and password for the website instead of just immediately letting me view my camera locally?

Provide a means for me to bypass autodiscovery and add a camera manually. By attempting to make it easier to use you have made it worse for people who do not need their hand held through the setup process.
