After a few years, the camera just stopped connecting. Lights up. Randomly spins at times when you’re not watching it and seems to have zero customer service help.

Used to be a ok app to use with Dlink camera, but lately very slow (minute or so) to even start up & log into iOS app. With perfectly working internet, app often cannot connect to cameras in my home.

This app either works well, or doesn’t work at all thus making your D-Link camera nothing more than an expensive piece of junk. As is all too common with D-Link, their products, software, and apps are all poorly scenario tested, and their support is almost always useless. Just better to go with another brand.

On initial setup make sure name is visible or else you cant register with your account.

Reliability is first and foremost the important quality for a camera. I also have a WYZE camera with lots of bells and whistles but the reality is that it’s not reliable, which makes everything else worthless.

But now i get absolutely 0 notifications on my iPhone 15 of any motion or sound detection. Used to work ok but now not at all. Please fix!!!

I like the app but I would like to view all my cams at once

Everytime you open the app you get an advertisement to buy something. It fills the screen and you have no way to prevent it from happening. DLink doesn’t think about users, trying to make a good user experience, or think about the fact that you paid a lot of money for their gear. Rather they just want to sell you something. We need more work that well it’s not worth it.

The updates are nasty. The worst app ever. Take this worthless app out of the App Store.

This is my first time I have a camera and I’m very very happy with the lite app and happy to see my little cat when I’m working.

Why are we getting pop ups for a product we already paid for? This started happening like a month ago all of a sudden.

The camera we have is very slow when turning and can be and I’m not happy with the allotted view time before it times itself out… However it has worked well while away in different countries to view our cats in the U.S. for the past 10 years and if it didn’t have a preset time out and turned around much faster or turning speed was adjustable, then it would get 10+ stars on a 5 star rating. Anyway we are pleased and do recommend D-Link cameras and apps.

Clear picture, easy to use.

I purchased this camera a few years ago. It never synced with my Wi-Fi. Today I discovered it in a closet and decided to try setting it up again. Even with a new Wi-Fi and router, no luck. I purchased Reolink (several)… no problems!

Our old app died/ended so we had to download the new app or go to dlink lite. This app is almost the same as before but we can no longer see the temp in our babies room, when we turn the screen sideways the view is smaller and it times out more often than on the last app. 😑

The update deleted my ability to see a full screen on my iPhone when rotated to its side!

Overall, this app has been pretty good. However, the latest update has made it impossible for the landscape view to fill my entire screen. This feature used to work, but stopped with the last update. Can you please “restore” this feature back to us so that we can see up-close details in our feeds?

Worked very well for the Legacy apps until iPhone IOS16 got released last week. On the iPhone 12 when you turn the phone from portrait to landscape the picture displays as a small square picture. Dlink did and update about a week ago also when Apple did theirs. It works fine on an iPad but not the iPhones.

This app worked fine before the latest iPhone IOS software update, but since then this app hasn’t been updated. Months later and still no update or response from tech team. I can no longer get a full landscape view on my cameras or zoom in to see the entire view in more detail.

made mistake of updating to latest app, cannot view camera and discontinued any browser support. so I guess I'll save the earth and dump the camera into the dump

Since the last update and or iOS 16 was released, sound notifications no longer work.

Been using this app for five years and absolutely zero trouble with absolutely love it

Camera picture is sharp with excellent depth of field. The unit is quite sensitive to sound and movement so you may get a few false alarms, but better that way than the other. Easy access on the cellphone app. I use old cellphones as monitors in the house so I continually observe the front door and backyard and see the deer munching on the shrubs!!!

No current market capabilities. Dlink destined to be the next blackberry

Overall very nice. Have had WiFi connection issues. Must be very close to router or gateway. I have 6 of these cameras. Fir the price they are a good buy.

Had the older version of this app and worked flawlessly. Just updated and left arrow button doesn’t work and sometimes it connects to the camera but mostly doesn’t. Also, no record events anymore. Does anyone check these apps before they release them. Have a camera that is worthless now. Thanks Dlink

Had camera for years, still working but it doesn’t send pics and video since company stopped supporting. Colors are not great. Had DLink routers too and they dropped signal every other day. I switched to Night Owl cameras and TP-Link router and will not purchase DLink in the future...

Have looked at this camera from one side of U.S.A. to the other side of U.S.A. Keeps an eye on who comes and goes out of my driveway and insures that my garage doors stay shut. Not a fancy camera or high res. but gets the job done for what I need.

Like the app picture nice and clear no streaming problems or connectivity issues. Only wishful for a split screen for multiple camera views. And a longer recording time. Or an option to set to record on alerts.

This camera sometimes finds the app, sometimes doesn’t. The WPS doesn’t work at all for me. (But my printer finds my WPS just fine...) Right now I moved it to a different wifi and it won’t connect at all. I used to at least be able to connect through ethernet and see an image. Can’t upgrade firmware unless you have a PC. Can’t format the SD card unless you have a PC. I have a Ring camera that works perfect, set up is simple. Had this for several months and it’s going in the trash and I’ll get another Ring. Bye bye. 👋

Very unreliable camera and app. I will be investing in Ring products going forward.

I can’t get motion or sound to notify me. Do I really need to reset???? I have read many reviews and I think the cameras released are on their own and they are not maintained at all. Maybe the latest but my cameras are like eight years old or something the 930L and another but I cannot fix the lack of motion or sound notification to the app

I’m basically using it as a garage door motion sensor to show notifications on my phone. But the app is old and hasn’t been updated in over a year. It still hasn’t even been formatted to properly fit modern iPhones.

I had my camera installed all of 20 minutes before my router notified me that a hacker was trying to break into my network using an exploit found in the camera. So I tried to remove the camera from my D-Link account, and this app doesn’t let you remove device once you’ve added it. So I open the web browser to try and login to remove it, and he told me that I cannot use chrome to sign into the website, which just might be the stupidest, most unprofessional thing I have ever encountered. So I tried to use Firefox, which is the only thing that allows you to use, and I couldn’t sign in with Firefox, so I’m screwed, and all I can do is throw out the camera unless I want to hackers trying to break into my network. EDIT: even better, I got another computer and finally managed to login with fire fox… And it tells me fire fox is an unsupported browser, and he only supported browser is Firefox. That’s right, you can’t login on any browser from macOS, because when you login on the only browser that it tells you you can use, it tells you you’re using the wrong browser. This is total garbage, it is unprofessional as I have ever seen, it’s a nightmare and I’m sorry I ever got involved with this. Dlink you have permanently lost a customer.

When I click on my camera to view it says error message and camera glitch. Please Fix it please

The app is very basic, nowhere close to the functionality of the camera’s web interface. Everything is very very slow in the app, if it works at all. Connectivity discovery of the camera is next to non-existent. Works out-of-the-box only if on same wireless network. Tiring unboxing experience. Expertise required is way beyond average user for issues not properly handled by the app.

Relay connection issue going on day two! We have fiber optic internet. Whats the deal!?

Upgraded to a Wyze camera, finally. Too many dropped connections, no notifications, difficulty troubleshooting and other random issues to tolerate with the D-Link unit. I had mine for over 3 years and finally the intermittent poor operation got to be near constant and inexcusable. Don’t even debate this one over a Wyze unit.

Can’t sleep easily knowing I’ll possibly not hear baby cry via the app
